In recent years, one concert highlight has followed the next in Munich: from Adele’s residency to Taylor Swift’s Mount Swiftie and Ed Sheeran’s exclusive performance. The who’s who of the music scene was represented in our city and we can look forward to many well-known names and big concerts again in 2026. Despite the renovation of the Olympic Stadium, there will once again be some open-air shows in addition to the usual indoor performances, promising a musical summer.
January 22: Bushido

We start the new year with a hip-hop legend: former Aggro Berlin rapper Bushido is coming to Munich twice for his new tour “Alles wird gut”. This will also be his farewell tour and marks the crowning glory of a successful music career. If you miss him in January, you will have another opportunity to see Bushido live in the Olympic Hall on March 11 before he retires.

February 06: Best of Bridgerton on Strings

Experience the modern hits of the Netflix series in a classic reinterpretation at Candlelight. A talented string quartet transforms Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything” Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” and Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” into classic versions that will transport you straight to the Regency era. “Jason Derulo!” can be heard throughout the Olympic Hall at the end of February when the R’n’B singer from Florida calls for the “Last Dance”. You can expect an energetic show with impressive dance interludes and well-known tracks to sing along to. The setlist includes hits such as “Talk Dirty”, “Wiggle”, “Swalla” and “Savage Love”, which are guaranteed to get you dancing along.

Florence Welch made it straight to number 1 in the British album charts with her first album and her success has continued ever since. She is now going on tour again with her latest work “Everybody Scream” together with her band The Machine and will also be stopping off in Munich. Look forward to a pop-folk spectacle with new and old songs, which Florence + The Machine will present for you with their usual skill and feeling.

March 14: The Lord of the Rings – In concert live to film

The Lord of the Rings film trilogy is now 25 years old. A quarter of a century needs to be properly celebrated and what better way to do that than with live music to the film? The first two parts have already been set to music in the past two years, and now the grand finale will follow in 2026 with “The Return of the King”. Watch the blockbuster on the big screen while the orchestra and choir provide the live background music. You won’t forget this experience in a hurry.

June 11 & 12: Linkin Park

Linkin Park have been blessing us with their music for 30 years and have achieved absolute legend status during this time. After the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington , the band made their comeback with their new singer Emily Armstrong in 2024 and are coming to Munich for the first time in their new formation. This year, they will open the open-air season in the Allianz Arena, which will serve as a replacement for the Olympic Stadium this summer.
June 25 to 27: The Weeknd

“After Hours Til Dawn” is the name of the new tour by Canadian superstar The Weeknd and is already considered the biggest R’n’B tour of all time. The singer, who has already broken several records in his career, is playing three shows in the Allianz Arena. Emotional ballads and danceable up-tempo numbers await you and will set the pace for three nights in Frötmanning.

The young singer originally only wanted to play one concert in Munich, but due to high demand she added two extra shows to her stay with us. Her big breakthrough came in 2022, when she launched the summer hit of the year in the charts with “Wildberry Lillet”. Since then, she has been an integral part of the German music scene and has had a significant influence on it.

August 21: Pink Floyd by echoes

Germany’s best-known Pink Floyd tribute band brings the greatest hits of the progressive and art rock act to the stage at the Munich open-air summer in the Brunnenhof. Since their breakthrough in 2011, the Cologne trio has become an integral part of the German music scene. They are back on the stages of this world and of course a stop in their home country is a must. Tokio Hotel will rock your November with a live show that promises to be bigger than ever. After last performing at Superbloom in Munich in 2024, they are now returning to our city with their own headlining show, tearing up the Olympiahalle with old and new songs.
