Paulaner am Nockherberg is probably best known for its strong beer festival in spring, but there is also plenty to experience here in the run-up to Christmas and beyond. Winter market, curling and cheese fondue
The winter festival at Nockherberg is above all a popular meeting place for curling. You can compete against each other on a total of 12 lanes in a casual game or you can organize a real tournament. Book a referee who will keep track of the points for you and announce the lucky winner at the end. You pay different prices for the lanes depending on the date and time of day. Prices start from €55, equipment included.
After curling, you can stroll around the surrounding winter market and try some hearty delicacies. Taste chili con or sin carne, soups and other delicacies and enjoy a mulled wine or a winter cocktail. Take sweet souvenir photos in front of the LED photo wall while soft music plays in the background.
It gets really cozy at the Winterfest-Alm, where you can order cheese fondue in different variations. Whether it’s the classic with white wine, the upscale version with truffles or – in keeping with Paulaner – fondue with dark beer, you can try it all here. There are also various side dishes, such as mushrooms, bread dumplings or vegetables. If you like it more unusual, order chorizo or fruit. A Kaiserschmarrn pancake for dessert rounds off your culinary experience.
An ideal place for company events and private celebrations
The winter festival at Nockherberg is the perfect place to organize private parties or Christmas celebrations. You can compete against each other in curling and claim the winter market for yourselves. Depending on the size, a flying buffet, a mulled wine reception and even a DJ are available. You can also have your own playlist playing if you wish. There are numerous shelters, lounges and catering huts so that you can enjoy the event whatever the weather. To make the experience even more individual, company branding is also possible.
Groups of 31 people or more who would like to enjoy the cheese fondue in the Winterfest Alm receive a special four-course menu. You can also book the Alm exclusively for yourselves and hold your event or celebration here. Both the indoor and outdoor areas offer 150 square meters of space, with the outdoor area partially covered and equipped with radiant heaters. The decorations can be customized and technical equipment is available for music or other program items.
As the winter festival at Nockherberg lasts until February 23, the Paulaner is not only suitable for classic Christmas parties.
