City tour in the Christkindltram

The Christkindl Tram is back on the road this weekend and will take you on a festive city tour through Munich. Midnight Bazar hands-on Christmas market

This weekend, the Midnight Bazar will be transformed into a creative, hands-on Christmas market. The indoor winter wonderland at Friedenheimer Brücke opens on all Advent weekends, from November 28 to December 21, 2025, on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to midnight with free admission. Here you will find handmade treasures, upcycling designs and sustainable gift ideas. In keeping with the motto “Don’t waste, reuse!”, there is also a second-hand area where you can give your favorite items a second life. The offer is rounded off with street food, drinks, music and hands-on workshops. Specials include the Latino Christmas Market on December 5 and the Filipino Christmas Market from December 19 to 21.

Ice dancing

Every Sunday during the ice skating season, you can learn ice dancing at Prinze. Move across the ice to waltz and tango and try out this different kind of ballroom dancing. The warm-up always starts at 09:30, after which you will be taught the steps and finally dance. In addition to classic couple dances, you will also be taught the Munich Dipferl, in which you skate across the ice in small steps as a human chain. The lessons are free of charge and take place in almost any weather. You should be able to move safely forwards and backwards on skates.
