DroneArt Show

What could be better than admiring the starry sky on a warm summer’s night – and watching a sparkling sea of lights from drones light up the night sky to the beat of timeless classical masterpieces? From August 14 to 16, you have the unique opportunity to be enchanted by the breathtaking DroneArt show above the racecourse in Munich-Riem. While a string quartet plays works by Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky and others by candlelight, over 500 drones create fantastic images in the sky to the beat of the music. Bring the last month of summer to a close with glowing moments!

Auer Dult – Jakobidult
The Auer Dult is a true Munich original and a must for all those who love the charm of traditional markets. At the Jakobidult, the summer edition of the Auer D ult, you can expect a colorful hustle and bustle with over 300 stalls offering everything from antiques and household goods to culinary delicacies. It’s the perfect place to stroll through the alleyways, rummage for treasures and sample a Bavarian specialty or two. Don’t forget to ride a Ferris wheel and enjoy the view over the city!

The legend of the Titanic

Pasinger Vorwiesn
August in Munich is also the time for folk festivals. The Munich district of Pasing has a long tradition of this. Every year, you can look forward to five days of funfair hustle and bustle and a beer garden. There is space for up to 2,100 visitors. Enjoy Bavarian delicacies and live music from the region – after all, it’s not too long until Oktoberfest… we already have the right atmosphere!

Munich Open Air Summer in the fountain courtyard of the Residenz
The Munich Open Air Summer in the fountain courtyard of the Residenz is a real insider tip for music lovers. Superbloom Festival
The Superbloom music festival takes place again at the end of August in the Olympic Park. Big national and international stars will perform here for two days. There will also be other performances, workshops and much more! Saturday and Sunday start at 11 am and you can party and dance all day long. Or you can treat yourself to a break at the Olympic Lake in between. If you can’t get enough, you can continue partying in the Milchbar on Saturday night. Entry is free with a festival wristband.
