The world’s biggest folk festival is still in full swing until October 5! Munich has been the absolute hotspot in Europe for weeks. Millions of people from all over the world have already traveled to be part of the Oktoberfest. The Wiesn is currently the place to be and you shouldn’t miss it!
Start your day on the Theresienwiese and round off the evening at the popular after-Wiesn parties. So, put on your traditional costume, pack a good mood and off you go to the Wiesn!

Kirchweih Dult in the Au

Can’t get enough of folk festivals? You’re in luck, the next one won’t be too long in coming. Just two weeks after the Wiesn, the Auer Dult starts again. You can enjoy delicacies or buy ceramics at over 250 stalls. Tuesday is family day, which gives you discounts on the rides, among other things.

Munich Marathon

The Munich Marathon is less hearty, but more sporty. During the run, you will get to see many of Munich’s sightseeing highlights, such as the Victory Gate, the English Garden and Marienplatz. For the first time, the route will take you past Sendlinger and through the Werksviertel. The start and finish are in the Olympic Park. There will be several refreshment stations along the route to provide you with water, electrolytes and various snacks. There will also be refreshments at the finish.
The half marathon and the 10-kilometer run will take place at the same time as the marathon. These will start later. The half marathon also starts in the Olympic Park, but finishes at Sendlinger Tor. The 10K, on the other hand, starts in the Werksviertel and ends in the Olympic Park with the marathon.

ARTMUC

It’s getting artistic with ARTMUC, which starts in October with the fall edition! National and international artists present their contemporary works at Munich’s largest art fair. The new location in the north of Munich offers plenty of space and bright rooms for the more than 180 participating exhibitors.

Halloween Candlelight

Vincent: Between delusion and wonder

Circus Roncalli

Circus Roncalli is coming to the city with its new program “ARTistART”.
