After having to close its doors on Kaufingerstraße, Bershka will soon open its new Munich flagship store in the Hofstatt.
A New Home After Leaving Kaufingerstraße
Bershka didn’t last long at Kaufingerstraße 14: The clothing store had only moved to the city center in 2023, taking over from its Spanish sister brand, Zara. In the spring of 2026, it closed its doors for the time being, and the retail space is currently being renovated. Reportedly, the Dutch cosmetics manufacturer Rituals plans to move into the store starting this fall.
Fortunately, you won’t have to go without Bershka for much longer, as the flagship store in Hofstatt is set to reopen this July. Previously, the U.S. fashion brand Hollister was located here. This marks yet another addition to Sendlinger Straße this year, following Sephora and Cookie Couture. On Thursday, July 23, the store will open its doors to you.

The new Bershka will span over 1,000 m², making it larger than its predecessor on Kaufingerstraße.
