The southern station district is currently undergoing a transformation. Not only has it been renamed“Central Quartier,” but it is also gradually gaining new office and commercial space. “The Stack” is currently under construction at the corner of Goethestraße and Schwanthalerstraße, where companies, retailers , and restaurants are set to move in. A new tenant has now been announced: The Brazilian superfood chain Oakberry plans to open its first Munich location here later this year.
Açaí bowls instead of burgers

Anyone looking for a quick meal to go around Munich’s main train station will mostly find the familiar fast-food classics. But for those who want to eat more healthily—or simply don’t feel like eating that way—it’s been tough here so far. That’s set to change in the near future, though, when Oakberry opens its first location in Munich. Then it’ll be all about fruit, chia seeds, and matcha instead of burgers, fries, and soda.
The Brazilian chain has been around since 2016 and now has over 700 locations worldwide. In Germany, Oakberry currently has locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Hamburg, and Berlin. The Munich location would thus be its first outlet in Bavaria.
Oakberry Opens in Munich
An exact date has not yet been set, but Oakberry is expected to arrive in Munich in the fall of 2026. The location will be on the ground floor of “The Stack,” a new building currently under construction on Goethestraße. The building is in its final phase of construction and will primarily offer office space, but the ground floor will also feature space for restaurants like Oakberry. The brand is currently looking for a store manager to run the Munich location.
Starting this fall, you’ll be able to grab refreshing bowls and smoothies at Oakberry. The chain focuses primarily on açaí bowls, which are available here in all kinds of variations. With chia pudding, pistachios, hazelnuts, or various fruits, there’s something to suit every taste. In addition to açaí smoothies, they also offer matcha in various flavors. The menu is also suitable for vegans. Whether for breakfast or just a quick snack, Oakberry offers a fast, fruity alternative to the otherwise rather hearty options around the train station.
