Anyone who thinks Lego is just for kids is sorely mistaken. The Danish building blocks have been experiencing a huge boom among adults for years , who spend hours working on the sets and creating complex models. However, the sets aren’t exactly cheap and also take up space that not everyone has available. If these problems sound familiar to you, then the new Lego building space “Out of the Blox” offers the solution for you. Here you can tinker and build to your heart’s content without having to worry about dust collectors or high purchase costs.
A building block paradise for young and old

“Out of the Blox” opened on April 1 on Schleißheimer Straße and offers more than enough space across over 200 square meters. The new building space is specifically designed not just for children, but is open to all age groups. Whether it’s a family day, a date, team building (Ha!), or a relaxed get-together with friends, everyone who enjoys building with interlocking blocks is welcome here. Out of the Blox deliberately creates a living room atmosphere and invites you to take off your outdoor shoes and make yourself comfortable on the carpet—just like at home!
The concept of Out of the Blox

Bavaria is already home to Legoland and can now also claim to be Germany’s first location with a Lego building space. Founders Moritz Janke and Melanie Sotouky want to offer you a place where you can try out different sets without having to buy them. The selection ranges from Star Wars to Harry Potter to Stranger Things and currently includes about 230 kits. The building space combines the creative with the social aspect and brings building block fans together.
You pay €15 for the first hour, and after that, you’re billed in 5-minute increments. This means you only pay for your actual building time and not for the full hour once it’s started. Plus, the timer doesn’t start until you’re actually working with the Legos—not during the instructions. Melanie and Moritz also give you a 15-minute break to grab a bite to eat and a drink or use the restroom. That way, you don’t lose any of your building time. If you want to spend the whole day at Out of the Blox, it costs €90 and you get a free drink. So grab those building blocks and let your creativity run wild!
