A winter sports paradise right “next door”

SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental is one of the largest, most modern and most popular ski resorts in the world. You may not be alone here, but you are in the best hands. The ski area stretches across the Kitzbühel Alps in Tyrol and connects several villages to create a huge winter sports paradise.
The Wilder Kaiser advertises with the slogan “Insanely close”, as you can reach the valley stations by car in around 1 to 1.5 hours (approx. 100-120 km). There are even daily ski bus services directly from Munich (e.g. to Scheffau or Söll). The ski area can also be reached quickly by train: Travel to Kufstein or Wörgl, from there take the Regiobus to the resorts.
Impressive dimensions, impressive prices

So getting there shouldn’t be a problem – and the dimensions of the ski world are all the more inviting. Over 275 km of slopes await you . Of these, 115 km are easy, 121 km medium, 10 km difficult and 29 km ski routes. 81 state-of-the-art lifts ensure fast transportation without long waiting times.
A special feature: there are 21 valley runs that take you directly back to the various villages. And with 10 km of floodlit pistes in Söll, the Wilder Kaiser ski area even has the largest night skiing area in Austria. And if you need a break or want to après-ski, you are spoiled for choice. The ratio of piste kilometers to huts here is one of the highest in the Alps – theoretically there is a refreshment stop every 3.5 km.
Unfortunately, maximum skiing fun is not cheap. In the high season (until mid-March) you pay around €76.00 for a day ticket , children around €38.00. The 6-day pass: is available for adults for approx. 438.50 €, children pay approx. 219.50 €. But still: If you are looking for the greatest winter fun, the Wilder Kaiser ski area is definitely the right place for you.
