The Scorpions are among the most successful German bands of all time and have been performing on stage for over 60 years. After celebrating their big anniversary in 2025, they’ll be hitting the road again next year. Not only will they travel across the globe, but they’ll also remain true to their homeland. Four concerts in Germany are on the schedule, including a show in Munich. Advance ticket sales begin as early as the beginning of November.
60 Years of Band History
In 1965, the band “Nameless” was founded in Sarstedt, Lower Saxony, and soon after renamed itself the Scorpions. Their first album actually took several years to materialize and wasn’t released until 1972. Their international breakthrough came seven years later, when their album “Lovedrive” achieved gold status not only in Germany but also in the U.S. Since then, the Scorpions have become an integral part of the rock scene and have regularly topped the international charts with hits like “Wind of Change” and “Send Me an Angel.”
Their success continues unabated to this day, and the four rockers from Lower Saxony can look back with pride on their career. With 110 million records sold, they rank among the most successful bands of all time. Last year, they held a major anniversary concert in Hanover to celebrate their 60th anniversary and showed that they’re still giving it their all on stage. Instead of retiring, they’ve now announced their new world tour for 2027.
Love, Peace, & Rock ’n’ Roll
The new “Love, Peace, & Rock’n’Roll” tour will take the Scorpions not only across Europe but also across the Atlantic to Mexico and the U.S. German fans can look forward to four concerts in May 2027. The Scorpions will perform in Stuttgart, Dortmund, Frankfurt, and, last but not least, Munich. Following Oasis, the next rock legends are set to perform in the city on the Isar this coming year. On May 22, 2027, the Scorpions will rock the Olympiahalle for you.
