2 Andy Warhol & Keith Haring – Party of Life
Museum Brandhorst is currently hosting an impressive exhibition: the world’s first dedicated to the two icons Andy Warhol and Keith Haring. Entitled “Party of Life”, the show refers to Keith Haring’s legendary birthday parties. It takes visitors back to the vibrant 1980s – characterized by MTV, discos, voguing, hip-hop, new wave and graffiti. With over 130 works, the exhibition offers a unique insight into the artistic collaboration between the two artists and their creative self-image.
3 Paula Scher: Type is Image
An icon of graphic design: Paula Scher is one of the most influential and successful graphic designers of her generation. Her work has inspired numerous designers and artists. Typography is at the heart of her work. With the exhibition “Paula Scher: Type is Image”, the Design Museum is presenting the first solo exhibition of her work in Germany.

4 The color of glass
This permanent exhibition highlights the versatility and brilliance of glass: from mass-produced hollow glass for everyday use to unique, freely designed objects. Not only colorless, transparent glass is on display, but also colorful, artistic works. Design, craftsmanship and free art are combined here to create a fascinating presentation.

5th Social Seating
Since November 20, you can once again experience the exhibition “Social Seating” in the rotunda of the Pinakothek der Moderne. The focus is on sitting as a communal experience and as an invitation to conversation. As the name suggests, it is all about social gatherings in which visitors can actively participate. Interesting seating furniture created by designers from different countries around 80 years ago invites visitors to linger.
