We really can’t complain about the selection of Asian markets in Munich : Orient-Shop has been supplying us with Asian food for almost 40 years, iSHOP has the largest selection with over 10,000 products, and Yashi’s Asia has been our city’s first convenience store since 2025. With Super K, another convenience store opened in PEP Neuperlach in February, focusing primarily on Korean snacks and ready meals.
A piece of South Korea in Munich
On February 3, the time had finally come and Super K opened on the ground floor of the PEP shopping center in Neuperlach. Since then, the store has been buzzing and attracting numerous guests who settle down on the red stools to enjoy their noodle soup right there on the spot. Owner Thien Bui has Vietnamese roots himself, but has traveled to South Korea many times and discovered the convenience stores there for himself. This fondness led to the decision to bring the concept to Munich to give people here the opportunity to “get to know a piece of everyday Korean culture” and experience it for themselves. The result is Munich’s first Korean convenience store.
📍 Address: Super K, PEP Neuperlach, Thomas-Dehler-Str. 10
🕐 Opening hours: Mon-Sat 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The heart of Super K: the cooking station

Super K is currently the largest convenience store in Munich, offering a huge selection of snacks and drinks, mainly from South Korea. But the highlight is the selection of ramen and instant noodles, which you can cook and eat right there in the store. Simply choose a variety, such as the viral Buldak Carbonara Ramen or the classic YumYum noodles. Then help yourself at the topping station and spice up your ramen with numerous fresh ingredients, such as enoki mushrooms, tofu cubes, shrimp, pak choi, eggs, or cheese slices.
Once you’ve made your choice, you can continue with drinks and snacks before paying at the checkout and getting your bowl. Then all you have to do is put all your ingredients in the bowl, pour hot water over them, and wait about three minutes. As soon as your noodles are ready to eat, find a seat and enjoy your warm meal. Of course, you can also buy the ready-made noodles and snacks to take home and enjoy there instead of eating them in the store. However, if you feel like experiencing a little bit of East Asian lifestyle in Munich, Super K offers you the opportunity to do so.
