Munich’s restaurant scene certainly can’t complain about a lack of choice: whether Japanese, Turkish, Italian, Georgian, or Bavarian, with or without meat, there’s something for everyone here. Michelin-starred cuisine is also represented in our city and will be reinforced in the spring, as Bobby Bräuer returns to Munich for a short time with his new project “Studio Kontrast.” If you don’t want to miss this opportunity, you should hurry.
French meets Indian cuisine

Bobby Bräuer was born in Munich and worked as head chef at Esszimmer for 11 years. During this time, the restaurant received two Michelin stars and 18 points from the Gaud Millaut restaurant guide. Now he has teamed up with his long-time friend Sandeep Sreedharan to cook with him for a short time at “Studio Kontrast” in Nymphenburg.
Sandeep spent some time as a guest chef at Esszimmer, which is how the two chefs got to know each other. Bobby later visited his friend at his restaurant in Mumbai, which gave him a new perspective on cooking. The new joint project is a dream come true for him. At “Studio Kontrast,” they serve a fine dining menu that combines elements of French and South Indian cuisine.
