When it’s bitterly cold outside and the Isar is no longer the meeting place of choice, it’s time to move your leisure activities indoors. The choice in Munich is huge, ranging from 3D mini golf and escape rooms to indoor swimming pools. Or how about another round of bowling? A little friendly competition among friends sounds like fun. However, if classic bowling is too boring for you, there’s something new to look forward to in Munich: Germany’s first champagne bowling alley has opened in Neuhausen, adding a touch of luxury to your game.

Margarete Kudritzki lived in Rotterdam for a long time, where she ran a bowling alley with her sister for 16 years. Now they have returned to Munich and are seamlessly continuing their work. The two had the old bowling alley in Neuhausen extensively renovated for €3 million and are focusing on a luxurious concept.
The Atoll combines a club atmosphere with pub sports. The lighting is subdued, the decor cool. Blue sofas surround the small tables at the end of each lane, which are naturally set with champagne and martini glasses instead of cola and beer. Disco balls hang above the pool tables and the lamps glow purple. It quickly becomes clear that Munich’s champagne bowling alley is aimed at a discerning audience.
This is also reflected in the menu. Although you can get the usual bowling classics such as fries, nachos, and nuggets here, there are also more upscale dishes. Meat lovers will enjoy steaks, while fitness fans will appreciate the bowls. But you can also order a burger and a waffle or a piece of cake for dessert.
Unique technology

Atoll is not only Germany’s first champagne bowling alley, but also the most modern facility in Munich. This is not least due to the NGT bowling technology, which is currently only available here. The LED lighting, together with the stylish interior, creates a premium lounge vibe. Nevertheless, families with children are also welcome, as the extensive children’s menu shows.
Depending on the day of the week and the time of day, you pay different prices for the lanes at Atoll. The cheapest option is Monday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at €38.50 per hour on the lane. Saturday night from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. is the most expensive at €59.50. There is an additional charge of €3 for shoe rental. A maximum of six players are allowed per lane, which creates a more intimate atmosphere. For billiards, the prices per hour and table range from €19 to €22.
