Another new store has opened in Munich. While you’ll have to wait until April for the city’s first Sephora store, another well-known cosmetics manufacturer has recently moved into the Riem Arcaden. From now on, you can smell fragrances and shop for bath products at Bath & Body Works.
On course for expansion in Germany
Bath & Body Works is a cosmetics chain that started in the US in 1990 and focuses on fragrances. It has over 1,500 stores worldwide, most of which are in North America. The first store outside the US opened in Kuwait in 2010. Now Munich has also received a Bath & Body Works branch, making it the first city in Germany to be home to the hyped chain. However, the location in the Bavarian capital is not expected to remain the only one for long. The company is planning further stores in Germany in the near future, including in Cologne and Oberhausen.
Bath & Body Works in Munich
Bath & Body Works arrived in Munich on March 5, 2026, and welcomes you to the Riem Arcaden. You will find the store in the basement of the shopping center next to the Tchibo store. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and invites you to immerse yourself in the world of fragrances, with staff always on hand to offer advice and assistance.
The manufacturer experienced a huge hype, not least thanks to social media, which made the chain even more famous internationally. Now you can finally try out the products for yourself in Munich and find your new favorite fragrance. The range includes soaps, perfumes, scented candles, and other care products for men and women. You will also find makeup products such as lipsticks, as well as a small selection from the Victoria’s Secret range, which, like Bath & Body Works, belongs to the retail company Limited Brands.
