On October 9 and 10, 2026, it’s that time again: The Digitalanalog Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary! What began in 2002 as a small promotional event for the electronic music venue t-u-b-e at Einstein Kultur has evolved into an indispensable cultural asset of our city. After calling the Gasteig home for many years from 2007 to 2021, the event has found its perfect venue at the Muffatwerk. The best part for you: For its 25th edition, the festival will once again take over all areas of the Muffatwerk—and it’s completely free!
A spectacular program: 25 acts, 13 VJs, and the best festival atmosphere
A massive lineup awaits you for the anniversary. A total of 25 bands and live acts will take the various stages, accompanied by 13 VJs and video collectives who will create fascinating visual worlds. The VJ team is under the proven leadership of Munich-based VJ Sicovaja, who has shaped the collective for over 15 years. The new mayor of Munich, Dominik Krause, also recognizes the event’s significance and has agreed to serve as its patron.
There’s something for every taste at the various venues across the festival grounds:
- Muffathalle: Here, you can expect an awesome mix of genres. Among others, the Munich-based dandy band Das Kitsch with their ’80s synths, Covves with new wave and dark disco, and PerQuist & Maddest Jugglin with hip-hop, grime, and Afrobeats will take the stage.
- Muffatcafé: Fans of experimental electronic music will be in for a treat here. Among others, look forward to Kid Stardust, who was already part of the lineup at the premiere of Digitalanalog in 2002.
- Ampere & Tent: At Ampere, the Dreschwerk collective —among others—will be setting the mood, while in the tent, projects like Dreschwerk x Inside Music await you.
Music, Art, and Volunteering: What Makes Digitalanalog So Unique

The fact that this festival has been enriching Munich’s cultural landscape for a quarter of a century is primarily thanks to the tireless efforts of its volunteers. To this day, the event is organized by Digitalanalog e.V., led by Claudia and Stefan Holmeier.
In addition to the concerts, there’s also a ton to discover away from the music stages: In Studios 1+2 and in the tent, you can wander through the walk-through “Best of ‘25 Years Right in the Middle’” exhibition and watch six short films by LMU students. So grab your friends and dive into two nights full of music, lights, and culture right in the heart of Munich!
