Even before the world’s largest folk festival reopens, another major spectacle awaits us in Munich: Heidi Klum’s “HeidiFest” is entering its second year. Numerous national and international stars and celebrities will be there, turning a simple Oktoberfest warm-up into a massive, first-class party. Those who can’t be there in person can watch the event on free TV or via a free livestream.
Celebrities from around the world
Last year, HeidiFest celebrated its premiere and already caused quite a stir. Now, the internationally renowned supermodel is stepping it up again and hosting another big pre-Oktoberfest party, two days before the official tapping of the first barrel at Theresienwiese. Around 900 guests are expected, including other models, fashion icons, influencers, TV personalities, and music stars. Among those attending are Pamela Reif, Bruce Darnell, Caro Daur, Katja Burkard, and Sarah Engels.
But Heidi Klum isn’t limiting herself to German celebrities—she’s also invited global stars. Among them are Naomi Campbell and Nicole Scherzinger, who performed two concerts with the Pussycat Dolls at the Olympic Stadium earlier this week. And, of course, her own family is a must on the guest list. In addition to her husband Tom Kaulitz and his bandmates, her daughter Leni, her mother Erna, and her son Henry Samuel will also be there.
Live stream of HeidiFest
HeidiFest will take place on Thursday, September 17, at the Hofbräuhaus, where Bavarian brass band music will get visitors in the Oktoberfest spirit . Later, there will be additional musical acts, including a set by Naomi Campbell. If you don’t want to miss the spectacle, you can watch it live from home. After last year’s ratings on ProSieben and Joyn left something to be desired, the HeidiFest is moving to RTL this year.
Starting at 6:30 p.m., Frauke Ludowig will report on the party in an exclusive special. The actual event then kicks off at 8:15 p.m. HeidiFest will be broadcast both on free-to-air TV on RTL and for free via livestream on RTL+. You can also stock up on matching merchandise in the Hofbräuhaus online store.
