If there’s one drink that Munich residents love just as much as beer, it’s the Spitzer. The Aperol Spritz, in particular, has become a Munich cliché and, for many, is inextricably linked to summer in the city. As soon as spring brings the first rays of sunshine, you’ll find this aperitif served everywhere, and you can enjoy it in the city’s outdoor dining areas and on its terraces. If you can’t get enough of Spritz or have grown tired of the standard varieties, be sure to stop by the new Sprizzeria in Schwabing.
New Summer Pop-Up
The Sprizzeria on Occamstraße is the new hotspot for all Spritz lovers. The pop-up recently opened above the Helene Disco and offers 30 different varieties of Spritz. These include, of course, the classics with Aperol, Limoncello, and Sarti, but also some more unusual varieties. Many variations are based on Lillet or Martini, but you’ll also find more unusual spirits like Déjà-Vu liqueur or Jägermeister. These are combined with all kinds of syrups, tonics, and sodas, creating a wide range of refreshing drinks.
Of course, there are also non-alcoholic options, so you don’t have to sacrifice great taste even if you prefer to stay sober. You’ll be anything but abstinent with the towers, though: three liters of Spritz to share with your friends for €59. These come with a tap so you can pour your own drinks. If you’d rather stick with the small version in a glass, it’s €6.50 at the Sprizzeria or €4.80 to go.
More drinks and food at the Sprizzeria

To make sure all that Spritz doesn’t go straight to your head, the Sprizzeria also serves food. You can choose from several types of pinsa and smaller snacks like chips and olives. The food menu is set to expand even further over the course of the summer.
If Spritz isn’t really your thing or you’re in the mood for something else, there are also various long drinks, wines, Prosecco, champagne, and beers. You can also order the long drinks and wine by the tower. If you go to the Sprizzeria on the weekend, you can dance the night away after your visit to Helene.
