Munich’s winter is still holding us captive with its cold. And it will be another six months before it’s finally “O’zapft is” again. But the anticipation for the next Oktoberfest can’t start soon enough: Because you can already reserve your tables for the Wiesn now. Even though the final tent approval will not be decided until May, the first booking portals for popular festival tents are already active. We’ll tell you everything you need to know. Secure the best seats for Oktoberfest!
Reserve tables for the Wiesn: Which tents are included?
The Weinzelt, Schottenhamelzelt, Armbrustschützenzelt and Ochsenbraterei have already activated their booking portal. You can already make lunch reservations here. Evening reservations are usually booked by regular customers every year. From March 20, the Hacker-Festzelt will also open its booking portal, including the Löwenbräu tent will also start taking reservations “in mid-March”, according to its own information. You can book your seats in Käfers Wiesnschränke and Herzkasperlzelt from April 1. And a little later in the Marstall tent from May: you can reserve tables for the Wiesn here.
The Oktoberfest rush begins: How do I make a reservation?
Most Wiesn tents allocate the free seats via practical booking portals on their websites. For others – such as the Löwenbräu tent – you still have to send your request by email. To make a reservation, you have to book food and drinks for each guest: This includes a value of at least two Mass and one Hendl. In a few tents you can also purchase food vouchers, in the wine tent or Käfers Wiesenschänke it’s 50 euros each.
As is so often the case, there are also some fraudulent websites at Oktoberfest 2025: It is therefore best to reserve tables through the tents themselves if possible and not through intermediaries. If a table is resold or you would like to return your reservation, you can use the city’s official booking and resale portal “Oktoberfest Booking”. Vouchers and reservations that have been resold will be made available here at a later date.
