Thanks to the 60th anniversary of the Spring Festival, we can look forward to a whole extra week of festival fun this year. For the finale, the Oktoberfest’s little sister is really turning up the heat once again, offering you a program full of fireworks—both literally and figuratively. In addition to the usual rides, game booths, and festival tents, you can look forward to comic book heroes, music stars, and much more during the final week of the Spring Festival.
Fun for all ages

You can also spend your old currency again during the final week of the Spring Festival. On Monday, May 4, the rides and stalls will accept not only euros but also Deutschmarks. Two Deutschmarks are equivalent to one euro. On Tuesday, the fun continues with the final Family Day, when you’ll get discounts on the rides and on some games and treats from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Families with children should also mark Wednesday, May 6, on their calendars. That’s when your favorite comic book heroes and heroines will be out and about at Theresienwiese from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Meet your favorite characters in person and have your picture taken with them.
Special guest Mickie Krause at the Spring Festival

For the finale, the Little Wiesn has another very special guest in store: Mallorca legend Mickie Krause will perform at Bayernland on May 4 and get the crowd singing, dancing, and swaying. Let yourself be swept up in the party atmosphere when the music star strikes up hits like “Schatzi, schenk mir ein Foto” or “Eine Woche wach.”
Unfortunately, as the weekend approaches, the Spring Festival is also drawing to a close. On Friday evening, you can once again admire fireworks lighting up the night sky over the Theresienwiese, accompanied by fitting music. On Sunday, May 10, the festival will finally bid farewell with the HandwerkerFrühling. This event celebrates guild culture and craftsmanship with a grand parade, during which the Schäffler will once again be present and dance for you.
